Il new Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar it is a watch with large dimensions: the case, in rose gold or white gold, has a diameter of 42 millimetres. The version in White gold of the Swaddle 1, available in a limited edition of just 150 pieces, features an elegant salmon pink dial, while the version with rose gold case, more traditional, is adorned with a slate gray dial.
The new Lange 1 Perpetual calendar stands out for the integration between aesthetics and mechanics. To maintain the aesthetics of the Swaddle 1, it was necessary that the watchmakers of Glashutte designed a rotating ring around the dial, which indicates the months. The days of the week are shown thanks to a retrograde hand located at 9 o'clock. The large date at 10 o'clock, Lange's unmistakable stylistic signature, steals the show, making the small leap year window at 6 o'clock almost escape the eye. Overall, a large, well-readable dial with a clever solution for displaying the months.
