Omega's catalog includes some of the most famous wristwatches in the world. The Speedmaster Professional for example in the summer of 1969 accompanied the first astronauts during the first lunar mission. Since the 60s, amateur and professional divers have chosen the Seamaster, a model that made several appearances on the big screen on the wrist of secret agent James Bond.
In addition to technical watches, Omega has also produced classic and elegant timepieces such as De Ville, Constellation and Globemaster. Materials such as red and yellow gold emphasize the fine character of the watches.
One of the main models of Omega watches is the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch. which has been an integral part of NASA astronaut equipment since the 60s and was the first watch in history to land on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission. Since then, Omega has made numerous variations of the watch. The model that comes closest to the original Moonwatch is the Speedmaster Professional with hand-wound caliber, Plexiglas glass as in the very first version and stainless steel caseback.In addition to the Moonwatch models, the collection also includes a wide range of interesting variations of the Speedmaster. Another milestone in the catalog of Omega watches is the Seamaster collection. The Seamaster 300, water resistant to 300m, is one of the most used by divers all over the world, with the Diver 300M, Planet Ocean 600M and Ploprof 1200M model lines dedicated to professionals. The watches in these series are water resistant up to their respective depths of 300m, 600m and 1.200m and are equipped with features such as helium valve safety push buttons for the bezel.
Also the Diver 300M is offered both in the three-hand and chronograph versions, in sizes for both men and women.
The Seamaster series offers three other models of great interest: the Bullhead, the Railmaster and the Aqua Terra 150. Much appreciated by collectors and fans of extravagant watches is in particular the Bullhead, with a shape that resembles the head of a bull.
The Omega Railmaster watch is part of the Omega catalog from the 1957 and was originally designed for people who were exposed to strong magnetic fields. Current models can withstand a maximum of 15.000 gauss.
In the Aqua Terra series, Omega combines the linear characteristics of a functional watch with the elegance of a dress watch. There are gold, diamond decorations, mother-of-pearl dials and crocodile leather straps.
In 1952 Omega introduced the Constellation series, characterized by a less technical style than the Speedmaster and Seamaster collections. The first models were often very sober and elegant three-hand watches, but over time new stylistic elements were introduced. Since the 80s, the aesthetics of the Constellation line have been characterized by the Roman numerals appearing on the fixed bezel. With the introduction of a more modern design, fine quartz movements have also become part of this collection. Since 1967 Omega has also offered a fine line of women's watches with diamond and gold decorations.
The De Ville series features a more classic style than the Constellation watches. Some models in this collection are very close to the design of Blancpain and Breguet watchmaking creations. Elements such as Roman numerals, tourbillon movements and white, pink and yellow gold cases come together to create the elegant and traditional aesthetic of the De Ville.
