Breitling, in 1984, he launched the first chronomat, in collaboration with the Tricolor Arrows. This chronograph it has a rotating bezel with removable and interchangeable 15 and 45 second markers. This allows you to transform the rotating bezel into a countdown tool and, above all, gives an aesthetic connotation that has marked the line Chronomat di Breitling ever since. It is the model that marks the return of the mechanical chronograph in production Breitling, however, celebrating the centenary - precisely in 1984 - of the maison.

The modern Breitling Chronomat line includes both time-only watches and chronographs, men's and women's watches. The tonneau case and the bracelet "Rouleaux" the various models have in common chronomat. With these watches, Breitling draws inspiration from its past and fits into the wake of the houses that have decided to ride the phenomenon of neo vintage, that is watches with stylistic features of the past made with up-to-date materials, quality and technologies.
The current Breitling Chronomat is gaining notoriety also thanks to the collaboration of Breitling with testimonials such as Charlize Theron, Brad Pitt and Adam Driver. In particular, the South African diva was hired as the face of the only time Chronomat 36, an optimal fit for female as well as male wrists, shown here in the green dial version.
